About MONARA
Monara was built in 1969 by Feadship and this superyacht exudes elegance and character in every detail. Monara is classically styled and furnished but behind her traditional looks are the very latest technologies and innovations, thanks to a major rebuild at her home yard that finished in 2016.
Restored to her original name and condition, 26m Monara combines the timeless aesthetics of her pedigree build with a superb layout that offers guests the best comfort and flexibility.
Monara's classic canoe stern allows for a large curved seating area and dining table on the main aft deck which sits beneath the shade of the top deck overhang. The aft main deck has attachable sides to keep evening winds at bay and allow guests to make use of the seating and dining area as the sun goes down.
Monara's main saloon is similarly versatile, with a large lounge area aft and a dining area forward with seating for eight guests. Between the two areas is a glass window on the floor, which shows the restored original Gardner main engines below. A few stairs lead up from the dining area to the pilothouse, where the original wheel has been refurbished and two seating areas welcome guests to enjoy navigating with the Captain.
The décor throughout Monara is warm with rich tones and traditional details, creating an elegant and comfortable interior. Dark oak wood is complemented with light soft furnishings.
Monara's accommodation includes a full-beam master cabin forward and a VIP double in the canoe stern. Two further convertible twin-bedded cabins are located amidship and these share a bathroom. All the cabins are located on the lower deck and are finished to the same high standards as the guest areas.
Up on Monara's top deck, there are two large sunbathing areas. The raised aft canoe stern area is filled with sunpads, a small bar and a chimney, which houses a retractable barbecue. The sunbed area can be converted into a dining and lounging area with an integrated table. On top of the wheelhouse is a sunbed and in the middle of this deck, another seating area with loose furniture, comprising sofas and a coffee table that can also be used as a dance floor for parties.
Guests can choose a full or partial shade with the flexible shade sails, which are also aesthetically pleasing during the day and at night when they are illuminated.
There is a large boarding platform with a bathing ladder portside, which can be accessed from the side deck and pilothouse, providing easy access to the water, the Williams jet tender and the ample selection of water toys carried aboard.
With zero-speed stabilisers, the latest technologies and audio-visual equipment, the fantastically restored Monara provides the ultimate combination of elegance and comfort. Aided by her dynamic and experienced crew, she offers her eight guests a superyacht charter experience to remember.
