About AQUIJO
Aquijo is one of the most iconic, luxurious and advanced sailing superyachts there is and, at 86m in length, she places sixth on the list of the largest sailing yachts afloat today. Aquijo was built in a collaboration between Dutch yacht-building giants OceanCo and Vitters Shipyard, and was designed by the award-winning Bill Tripp.
Aquijo redefines the top-end sailing superyacht charter experience, with vast interior volumes and the space and amenities usually only seen on motor yachts. Aquijo’s design attributes include three outdoor bars, a guest elevator, and a large beach club complete with a spa, steam room, sauna, hot tub and beach club lounge.
Aquijo offers interior and exterior dining for up to 24, with her exterior dining table positioned beneath a retractable skylight in the cockpit. The cockpit and main aft deck are the social hub of this yacht, and a statement glass floor panel in the teak deck is an unusual design feature. On the aft deck, there’s also a 12-seater bar counter featuring a raise and lower television, beer on tap and ambient lighting.
Aquijo’s flybridge is spectacular, with large sofas, an ocean-view Jacuzzi, cushioned sun pads and a bar top with stools. Above, her 90m-tall ketch rig and impressive sail plan deliver exceptional sailing performance.
The versatile accommodation arrangement allows for 12 guests to be accommodated across seven adaptable cabins with numerous layout configurations. The striking master suite is located on the bridge deck and features his-and-hers en suite bathrooms, private elevator access, and an intimate private terrace with a dining table.
There are two lower deck VIP suites, both of which are en suite and have their own private lounges, which can be converted to form two separate cabins each with their own entrance if required. There’s also an ensuite double cabin, specifically designed to suit guests who need wheelchair access or other aides to enjoy their time onboard, and a spacious twin.
Aquijo carries a whole host of water toys. Take to the kayaks to explore the coastline, enjoy an adrenaline rush on the wakeboard and water skis, or challenge your fellow guests to a race around the yacht on the stand-up paddle boards. For those who like to venture beneath the waterline, there are eight sets of scuba diving equipment.
